At the age of 18, Gibran turned his passion into a profession by becoming a fishing guide on the Vedder River, sharing the joy and thrill of fishing with others. His expertise isn't confined to freshwater; at 12 years old, his grandfather took him saltwater fishing in Campbell River, a trip that profoundly influenced his life and fishing career. Today, Gibran is based in Tahsis, BC, at Westview Marina, where he continues to guide anglers in pursuit of Chinook, Coho, Halibut, Lingcod, and a variety of rockfish. However, his true passion lies with chasing Albacore Tuna off the Westcoast of Vancouver Island, embracing the challenges and excitement of the open ocean.

Outside of fishing, Gibran is an avid hunter and adventurer, cherishing the time spent outdoors with his family. Sharing adventures and creating memories with his loved ones is the cornerstone of his life outside of his professional fishing career.
