Together, they’ve cultivated a deep appreciation for the stunning beauty and endless possibilities of the West Coast waters.
Andrew, originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, began his fishing career at the age of 12 as a freshwater guide in Northwestern Ontario, chasing walleye, northern pike, and bass on Dogtooth Lake. Drawn to the allure of the ocean, he eventually made his way to Vancouver Island, where he has spent over 20 years perfecting his craft in salmon and bottom fishing. His charter, Andrew’s West Coast Adventures, reflects his dedication to professionalism, skill, and delivering unforgettable experiences for his clients.
Jaci, a lifelong Vancouver Island resident, grew up surrounded by nature. While she occasionally fished with family as a child, her passion for the sport blossomed after meeting Andrew in 2006. A fishing trip to Northwestern Ontario, where she landed bass with nearly every cast, solidified her love for angling. Today, Jaci enjoys spending time on the water with Andrew, their boys, and friends, creating lasting memories with every outing.
For Jaci, targeting Chinook salmon and lingcod is a highlight, and she relies on lures like the Lighthouse Lure Big Eye Spoon AWC Wonder, Party Girl, and Bon Chovy Skinny G for salmon. For lingcod, her favorites include the Mega Bite 14 oz swimbaits and Lighthouse Max Shads, perfectly suited for reeling in these “ocean dragons.”
